Dear Secret Pal,

Thank you so much for the awesome gifts from Australia! They came 3 days apart. I can not wait to sit down during the holidays and read "The Red Thread". I hope Christmas vacation will find me reading near a warm fire place sipping some hot chocolate. This of course after a busy day in the snow probably skiing. Gabby is anxious to read the Aussie Christmas book and we can't wait to share it with her Mei Mei. Love the ornament with a place to put an adorable picture and the sweet hair clips for Christmas.

I was so surprised to come home yesterday to a BIG box on our front porch. Thank you so much for the little boy stuff -- I'd totally convinced myself that it'd be another girl, so I think he has a couple of outfits.

The girls loved their lady bug backpacks!!! They already have them packed for our trip to China -- Lord knows what they put in there.

We got a box FULL of goodies this week from our Secret Pal. Sophia wanted the adorable Hello Kitty hair clips and doesn't quite understand "why" she can't have them. With the wait being so long, we really don't talk about our new baby sister quite yet! What a great box of goodies! We love the Worth the Wait onesie (so true--LOL), frog toy, bib, book for pictures, and spoons! Last time I sent one of those picture books to China for Martina before we traveled. When we met her, the nannies recognized us right away and made sure we understood that she had been looking at our pictures. I knew I was going to have to go and buy another one for our next child, so it's great to have that already!

Thanks for the great gifts! Our kids were so excited about a package! We love the picture book and can't wait for the day when we fill it with photos for our new little guy! The bib and the John Deere Keys are awesome too! The kids immediately wanted "the creaky squeaky bed" read to them and stories from the other book too! The cookies... one of my favorites with coffee (something I enjoy a lot of:) can't wait for a warm cup here in a bit with a cookie!

Dear Secret Pal,

This months gifts are great. Doug loves the "Made in China" onesie. The bib is perfect. I am looking for a hat to match the gloves. As far as the map goes, I hope we are using it sooner than later as well!
I hear you about the raking of the leaves. They are beautiful coming down, but back breaking to pick them up. We just got a new roof this weekend so we are also raking up old shingles. Oh yeah, in the rain too.
As far as reading goes Doug loves sci-fi, naval stories and war intelligence type of thing. I go for autobiographies and the classics since I am currently working on my degree in Literature/English. When I need a relaxing book I like Luann Rice.

Our Secret Pal is One in a Million
On Monday morning the mail lady knocked on our door with a package for us. Andrew was away this week for work so I didn't want to open it till he came home on Thursday Night.
I lasted till Tuesday night and couldn't wait any longer. So I opened the box and pulled out all this loot!









I had so much fun unwrapping everything. I loved the Pooh Bear wrapping paper. Look at all this stuff, and the note was so sweet. The gift represents SP gifts for 2 months.

Musical Surprise!!

Thank you again for another great gift. We both love the packaging. As we were opening it the musical keys started playing, both of us thought it was a cell phone until we realized it was coming from the box. We love that you can put little pictures on the keys. Everything is so cute. I don’t think the little bow made it into the picture but it is adorable. I can’t wait to put little socks on her feet and fill the photo album with pictures as I am sure we will have lots of those.

Dear Secret Pal!

I can't THANK YOU enough for making each month "SPECIAL". I am Blessed to have you as my secret pal. Don't think for a moment that the Chinese Stamping on the box or the colorful addressing of the box went unnoticed. The address colors were so pretty it immediately caught my eye, than as Pingping and I were opening the box the Chinese stamping jumped at us. I was amazed and just kept repeating, "oh look at the box, look at the box". Pingping just wanted to see what was in the box. She now knows that the gifts in the box are for her sister. But she does have the zoomer Panda in the tub with her.

p.s. to answer to your questions:
Pingping has expressed that she doesn't want to go to China. She wants to stay with a friend of mine in Washington State. I hope she will feel differently later on, but I won't force her to go if she doesn't want to.
