You are the greatest! This morning my good friend called, she was shocked when she got a box in the mail out of the blue! She had no idea that I had requested my secret pal send her my box this month. It made her day! The kids loved the books- especially the Tonka one. Benjamin was so excited she said. The treats were great too! Thanks for doing this for her, it made my "gift" so special this month to surprise her from you! (I got my little box yesterday with the treats and the book, how sweet of you to think of me too this month. The Halloween Oreos are very popular!!!)

Ladybug Sighting!

A big thank you to my great Secret Pal for this cute costume and Halloween sticker book! I hope to be taking a photo of this costume again next October with my little girl smiling back at me from under her floppy, fuzzy antennae. I just realized that I forgot to include the wonderful homemade Halloween card in the above picture, darn it. I loved it, and appreciate the time you take to make your own cards - they are extra special. No tricks here, this was all a treat to find on my porch. Those Priority Mail boxes make my day, thanks again.

Thank you so very much for our gift!! It's one of the first gifts that we have received with actual baby-related things! When I opened the bibs, I almost started to cry...:)

Thank you again! And as far as your message...until we get closer to referral, I say whatever you have up your sleeve...have at it!! The only thing I have to mention is nothing that contains cinnamon oil please. My husband is allergic to it!

Charity got the pumpkins!!!!

First I have to apologize for taking so long. I had to go to Nashville for a conference & somewhere time got away from me. (I was able to post pictures to our blog if you want to check it out.) I LOVE the pumpkin candy basket. Seeing Hannah Grace's name makes it feel sooo real. I started tearing up when I saw it. All the boys were worried about me (they are starting to get used to my emotional outbursts!) I am so thankful you added the real pumpkins to the mix. We are in a drought here. It's been so bad, we haven't even bothered to go to the patch this year. The pumpkin theme is perfect. I love your thoughtfulness & encouragement. This has really been an excellent way to pass the time. Looking forward to next month.

Boo's your Daddy!

What a nice way to start a Saturday! Len and I were sitting on our front steps chatting with our neighbors and enjoying some green tea when the post-lady shows up with your gift. So of course we opened it right away! How much fun are these gifts??! Our neighbors were very impressed and thought it was such a nice way to pass the time. I can't wait to read the book to her and put her in cute little outfits--you are too generous and a great gift-giver! We are gearing up for Halloween--our neighborhood is crazy about it and we usually give away candy for about 3-4 hours. It turns into a roaming street party after a bit so when you run out of candy at your house you pack up and go to your neighbors where we all end up having a few drinks and some snax until the last goblin is tucked in.

We went to use it today, and she just had to get little baby ponies to go with her new pony!

To Our Secret Pal,

Happy Fall! We LOVE the yellow duck outfit(costume)! Do they make those in adult sizes? It looks so warm and cozy. And you can never go wrong with Pez. Classic. Thank you for the gifts. They are great. And No, I like the fun stuff. You can leave practical to us and the baby shower. This should be fun and stress free. As for your question about Disney, we go every year in January or February. My sister has the Vacation Club so we usually go with them and their kids. Sometimes one of my other siblings and their kids will go. Out of six of us, I am the only one without children so I cannot wait to bring our daughter with us. I have the benefit of experience, though. I know exactly how to navigate a trip to Disney with infants, toddlers, adolescents and teenagers. ( I do not recommend infants and would think seriously about toddlers).
One thing I have to find out about my secret pal is the holidays they celebrate. So if it makes it any easier for you, we do celebrate Christmas and Santa Claus, Easter and the Easter Bunny. We love holidays.

Happy Halloween Secret Pal!

Thank you so much for all the Halloween goodies. I just love seeing the treats every month come in the mail. The picture frame is absolutely adorable, I may have to put a picture of our dogs dressed in their Halloween costumes in there until our Little Miss comes home. The headband and slippers were so cute. The book is such a sweet story. I love those kinds of books for little ones and I am sure she will love playing with the magna doodle toy. Jim loves to draw and can’t wait to draw little pictures for her. Thanks again, I think I have the best secret pal ever.

I received my Sept gift to today! WOOHOO! And don't worry about it being late.. just made it more suspenseful!! LOL

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Discovery Ladybug!! It is absolutley adorable! Both hubby and I were playing with all the different features.. going "OH OH the head squeaks!!" LOL Way too cute!

And I LOVE the "Raven" magnets.. that is just perfect! They are on the fridge now! I was just in a Hallmark store the other day talking to someone about how I'll never find any of those little name plates or little magnet or keychain things that they sell with the names on it. There will never be a Raven.. lol never thought about actually using individual letters! Very cute!

A big thank you to Kristen Thomas' Secret Pal! I couldn't wait to get the adorable white bow on Emily, but she wanted nothing to do w it--she hates anything on her head. Guess we'll have to save that for her Mei Mei. The "Sisters" book is wonderful--so appropriate. And we love the "cheater" chopsticks! We were just trying to show Emily this past weekend how to use chopsticks (the hard way).

We can always look forward going to our mailbox at least once a month. Thanks a bunch!

When I arrived home from work today I found a package in our mailbox. I was so excited to receive our package from our Secret Pal and to be the first one to open it. Last month my dh beat me home and opened it w/o me. When I opened the package there was a set of disposable spoons, a very cute bib and the most PRECIOUS T-Shirt for little Matelin... I LOVE IT!!! It put a huge smile on my face and just made my day... Here are the pics...




The t-shirt says "Royal Highness, The Queen but you can call me Sweet Heart" - I just LOVE IT!!

It had all sort of fun things... the kids love the fruit snacks! Thanks again for more of these! The little books and items for our new little guy to come, especially love the long sleeve shirt (says, "My Sister Did It!) Thanks for Eli's birthday shirt as well, he put it on to wear! The quilting pencils will get put to good use too and all the other goodies!
