 Hi. I am wondering if anyone knows what LID China is servicing right now. It is no longer posted for public view. I am no longer waiting...I adopted a little girl from within the US, but I have always been curious how long my wait would have been, I wish I knew the date they were at now.

I have to say I have had a great time with the Secret Pal Swap. Steve and I have loved everything that you have sent us for out baby girl. We just can't wait to see her in all of the clothes that you have sent and read all of the books to her.
It has been so much fun to open up the front door and there is a gift from you waiting to be opened.

I've been a horrible recipient the last few months! Things just get busy and I forget to post my appreciation for the gifts that you've been sending! And forgive the lack of pictures as we've been doing some slight re-decorating of our house and it's an absolute disaster at the moment. All of your gifts are boxed up so they are protected and out of the way!

Thank you so very much for all of the fun, fun stuff that you've sent for our Dorissa! I have to say that my very favorite package was the one that included the Colts stuff! I can't wait to have her with us during the Colts games looking so adorable in her pink Colts gear! :)

The toys that you sent in this last package will come in handy! I was so excited to see the chatterbox phone! And it's a girly one!! I remember those phones from when I was a kid...

I am so sad to see the exchange ending as I loved getting a new package of goodies each month! Thank you so much for all of the thoughtfulness that you put into each and every package. I especially enjoyed the Disney touches! I am a HUGE Disney nut! I don't suppose you are a DISer, are you? :) If you are, you'll know what that means...if you aren't, then you'll just think i'm certifiably nuts!

Thank you so much for the wonderful gifts throughout these past 12 months. It has been such a blessing having you as our secret pals. Each month I have looked forward to seeing what was in each box you sent. The cats loved helping to open them as well !! Your gifts always put a smile on our faces during this year of waiting and your packages gave us something to look forward to each month.

Since we have been waiting, we have received a referral of a darling baby girl in Taiwan. We will continue to wait on China, but we are so lucky and blessed to have received the referral of our first daughter from Taiwan. Several of the gifts you have sent to us have gone over to her in her care packages from us. We hope to travel to pick her up no later than November.

We certainly do want to meet you and keep in touch !!! We get to the Tampa area every so often, especially to go to Busch Gardens. We are looking SO forward to the day when we can take our daughter there !! Maybe we can go together. That would be great.

I don't know if you are one month behind or not. Since we received the referral of our daughter, I have lost track of all my mental capabilities !! I have baby on the brain !!! Joanne and Steve, thank you again so much for the past year. Again, you have been amazing. AND, I never guessed who you were. It was a complete surprise when you announced who you were. Thank you, thank you Karen. Your gift this month (as in every month) is wonderful, I wanted to write right away. You are so thoughtful and wish I had shopped half as well. Each month your gifts have been the highlight of our adoption journey. Your gift could not have come at a better time to lift my spirits. I have really been questioning our path to having children lately your gift has really reinvigorated me. I love everything. The Chinese translator is so cool. I love the planner it is gorgeous! The hats, toy, blanket, carrier, book, travel flatware, and of course something lovely for me. You have meant so much I just wanted to call you to thank you right away! But this was the next best thing. The gifts brought tears to my eyes, but these were good tears. I want to keep in touch if that is amenable to you. We'll have to (at the very least) compare notes on Project Runway! When is your LID?

What fun it has been to be on the receiving end. It was really so exciting to know that our Secret Pals were living in Australia! The anticipation each month was half of the fun waiting for your lovely packages. We can't wait for our little one to arrive and enjoy all of the wonderful items you have sent us from Australia.

Love the picture frame, the soft giraffe lovie, the crayola chubbies are perfect. Gabby has already looked at the Wiggles game cards and wants to play NOW! I can't wait to open the books and read some Australian stories.

You have blessed us so often over the past year, thank you! We got an awesome package this weekend! Our pals have been Sheryl & David and they live in FL. Her package this month was incredible and arrived just in time for us to share it with our friends visiting! They us many gifts that were local or represented special things about where they live! We received espresso found in a local coffee shop with instructions on how to make it the S. FL. way:) Yummy! Shark gummies for the kiddos, cards from a local shop, star marshmallows to represent fireworks for the 4th off the local pier, cookies, fudge and "Toad Sweat" sauce (we are dying to try this one!!!!) Also a kids Bible story book and a beautiful shell decorated with beads that Sheryl picked up along the beach and decorated!

We shared the goodies at "tea time" with our friends on Saturday afternoon, what a hit!

Thank you Sheryl and David, you have blessed us in so many ways! We have appreciated your thoughtfulness throughout the year! I love all the past gifts for our little man and we can't wait to have him home in our arms! Your sweet girl is beautiful and we look forward to the day we see her in your arms!

Thanks again for everything. I still do not know who you are, but you said that you have something else for us, so that is ok. I really like the shirt that say's "My Mom Rules". The Dish Towel was really neat too. Thank you for knitting it for us. I know that we will also get a lot of use out of the books. Steve loves to read and can't wait to read to our child. I received your package about two or three weeks ago but things were very hectic. I didn't get a chance to take pictures, but opened it all. I didn't see the letters until after the packages were out and I opened each one as I pulled them out. However, I didn't open the letter revealing who you are. I'll do that on July 1. I love everything and I'm sure Apple is going to love it, too. Thank you so much.

BTW, I think I've guessed you. If you've posted just once on my blog, then I've guessed you because I followed the link to see who had posted and got the feeling it was you. Like you said, though, once I read the reveal letter, you can post freely and I'll know for sure who you are.

What a year!

Thank you to the Vraniak family. What a year. We made it. All of your gifts have helped make it through the year with a little sanity left. I love the last batch. I cannot wait to see our baby on the beach in her little bathing suit and playing with her new beach toys. I will take a picture of her and put it in the cute baby frame. You can never go wrong with bubbles.

I wish you a speedy referral and much happiness and good health while you wait. Doug and I really appreciate all the gifts. We now have 4 plastic totes of goodies for our baby. Sometimes I cannot help myself when I see something cute. We will probably have 10 totes before she even gets home. :)

Actually, I've already emailed you about the wonderful things you sent. Here are the pictures.

The first picture is of the toys sent last month, because I posted a thank you without a picture then. Yes, there are a few additional things in the picture: The pillow is Martina's nap pillow from school which is wearing the Dora pillowcase you made. The elephant also snuck into the picture. Martina stuffed him in there today. We are having a great time with the pillowcases (I had mentioned to you in my email that she has found creative uses for them) and she can't wait to play with the toys with her baby brother or sister.

The next picture is of the super-cool things you sent for the baby: We love the blanket that you made. It will be very special to us, knowing that you made it. The outfit is too cute, and of course, rather appropriate for us Texans! We love the luggage tags and picture frame.

The rest of the pictures are of Martina playing with the pink panda gardening things you sent her. It was so nice of you to think of her! As you can see, we had a lot of fun goofing off with all the stuff! She can wait to plant some seeds next month.

The Huffman’s Last Gift for the Exchange

Thanks to the entire Bison family for such great gifts. We really do love them all. The best part of this exchange was to find such a great friendship. I know the personalized items gave Kim a challenge since our Little Miss does not have a name yet but she did great. The blanket that Kim’s Mom made is gorgeous and we know that Little Miss will love it as much as we do. Everything else is was so perfect!! I posted a slide show of all the great stuff on my blog.
